What is the Story?

Madam Shinsplintski may be fictitious, but she has accompanied me for decades—influencing my art, imagination, and choreography. Physically, she is a combination of my middle school Spanish teacher and a rather mature, full-figured hostess at the Tea Room at Bullocks Westwood in the '60s.
